A wide variety of vegetables can be prepared on the grill. Not just classic grilled vegetables like corn, but also asparagus, carrots, eggplants and mushrooms. Zucchini can be wrapped in aluminum foil and grilled just like other vegetables.

The vegetables taste best when they are replaced with a schnitzel before eating. No, seriously… when they are marinated before grilling. There are no limits to your imagination.

Refined oils such as rapeseed or sunflower oil definitely belong in a marinade. The rest can be added according to taste. For example, red pepper, black pepper, onions, garlic and much more - as you like. If you don't like a complicated marinade, you can simply coat the vegetables with a little Alsan butter and a little salt.

Recipe stuffed avocado for grilling

Grilled avocado is probably one of the least known grilled dishes. Filled with couscous and spices, the dish offers a varied eating experience.

  • To do this, a small amount of couscous is left to swell with vegetable stock for a few minutes.
  • Basil is washed and chopped into small pieces; an avocado is halved and the pit is removed. Then the two avocado halves must be marinated with lemon juice, salt and chili.
  • Chop an onion finely and caramelize it in oil and agave syrup.
  • Add everything to the couscous and mix well. Season with salt, pepper and olive oil.
  • Place the two avocado halves on the grill for a good two minutes on each side. Then fill the avocados with couscous.

You now have an extraordinary grilled dish that is not only tasty but also healthy.

If you prefer to eat meat during the barbecue season, you should definitely prepare fresh side dishes for meat dishes. This not only makes it more varied, but also healthier. Fresh vegetable salads in particular are a must. How about a mozzarella salad with fresh rocket leaves and tomatoes? Or a carrot salad?

So it doesn't always have to be meat. You can conjure up a wide variety of dishes from a variety of vegetables, which not only taste good when grilled, but are also very healthy.

Something sweet at the end

But dessert is also a must at a barbecue party. Ricotta and tiramisu are probably the most popular desserts in summer.

But a quark and yoghurt dessert with strawberries, cherries or currants would also be a delicious and very varied option. So there are no limits when it comes to desserts either.

Grilling includes everything that tastes good and is good for you during the most wonderful time of the year. Because only at this time can we gather as much strength as possible for the long winter!
