Even if someone initially agreed or even actively participated, he or she may later change their mind and want to stop the act. Every person deserves respect and dignity regardless of their gender or sexuality. No one should ever be forced to do something their way – be it through physical violence or psychological pressure. We as a society must work to ensure that every individual can exercise their right to self-determination without fear of consequences. We should all work together to promote a culture of honesty, respect and equality in our interactions with one another so that we can create a safe environment in which every person can live freely without fear of what might happen if they do say „No“.
